About Village Creamery

Established in 2025, Village creamery blends the joy of a new ice cream shop with the timeless charm of the 1940's. With vintage decor lining the walls and antique tables underfoot, this may be a new shop, but it's filled with the comforting charm of a bygone era.

In Tyler, the best-known bakeries and bagel shops have lines on weekend mornings, so arrive early or order ahead where the shop offers it. Across Texas, immigrant bakeries add Mexican pan dulce, Vietnamese banh mi bread, Chinese buns, Middle Eastern sweets and European rye to the mix, and many gluten-free and vegan bakeries have opened in larger cities. Check the listing for hours, whether the shop accepts custom cake orders and its Google rating before you go, and call about allergens, since small kitchens often share equipment. Day-old bread and end-of-day discounts are common if you ask.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. The most common schedule is 10 am–8 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday, Tuesday. We went to Village Creamery for their ice cream and take some pictures for our gender reveal! Ice cream: It was delicious!! We got the strawberry and there were bits of actual strawberry inside! It wasn’t too sweet and was very refreshing! There were lots of classic flavors like strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate, but there were also great unique flavors like lavender, green tea. There were also pints for sale and I saw flavors like Big Red and I think Bacon Jam. Menu: Aside from the many ice cream flavors, there was also a hot dog combo and a lemonade freeze on the menu! The owner stopped by to say hello and mentioned that the hot dogs were the exact kind from the MLB baseball games and fully beef hot dogs! Ambiance/ interior: We picked this spot because the interior was so cute! It was obvious that they were passionate and wanted it to be a place that would be comfortable for everyone. Lots of space for big parties or a quick scoop! (I didn’t take a picture of all the seating to respect the privacy of other patrons). Service: Everyone was so kind and helpful! We were instantly welcomed! They asked if we needed any help and went above and beyond! They have a unique mission tha

Our server was so friendly! I wish I had got her name but she was excellent and super friendly with my kids. She made it more of an experience than just an ice cream stop. BTW ice cream was super good! It was our first visit and we're not in Tyler often but next time we are we'll stop again.

My boys and I enjoy this quaint and cozy creamery!! It’s our favorite little stop for a sweet treat! The Henry’s ice cream is divine and the sweet servers make the experience extra special! If you enjoy hot dogs, try their Chicago dog! It’s the best!!! I get it every single time we go (which has been a lot)! You will enjoy your visit, I can assure you!
